Ban Appeal Guide

For Steam Users

  1. Locate the Demos Folder:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike
    • C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life\cstrike
  2. Find Your Demo:
    • Open the demos folder. Look for files with the .dem extension.

For Non-Steam Users

  1. Locate the Game Directory:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\cstrike
    • C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike
  2. Find Your Demo:
    • Open the demos folder to find files ending in .dem.

Preparing Your Ban Appeal

When writing your ban appeal, include the following details:

  • In-Game Nickname: Your username in the game.
  • Server Name: The server where you were banned.
  • Date of Incident: When the ban occurred.
  • Time of Incident: Specific time in the demo where relevant events occur.
  • Reason for Ban: The reason provided for the ban.
  • Explanation: Briefly describe why you believe the ban was unjustified, referencing specific timestamps in the demo.
